Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Hacked Firmware 720p25-to-720p24 B&W Test

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 running hacked v1.22 firmware via Ptool 3.50d. Shot in PAL mode at 720p25, converted to Apple ProRes 422, conformed to 24p. Edited in Final Cut Pro. Music: Tycho – Past is Prologue – Dictaphone’s Lament First two shots are a 50mm (100mm equivalent) f1.7 manual Minolta MD lens, with a B&W 52 red filter. Third and fourth shots are with the Panasonic 14-45mm (28-90mm equivalent) f3.5-4.5 zoom lens with autofocus and optical image stabilization on, B&W 52 red filter. Last two shots are with a 28mm (56mm equivalent) f2.8 manual Minolta MD lens, with a .6 ND filter. All shots were 1/50 shutter speed.

The Feeling of Fall Colours

Fall in South Western Ontario : October 10′th 2010. Footage shot with Olympus E-PL1 and Minolta 50mm f1.7 and Minolta 28mm f2.8 manual focus lenses – attached with Minolta MD to E-PL1 adaptor from China. Footage while driving was taken with the camera mounted on my tripod and sitting on the roof of my van. Ambient sounds of the leaves falling, are subtle throughout the music mix.
