Full Count – Short Film

This a film I shot (Director of Photography) with my great friend Patrick Collier who directed the short. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had collaborating on a film and I’m very proud to be apart of it. I shot this on my: Panasonic DVX-100b 35mm Adapter (self-designed) Minolta MD 35mm Lenses: 17mm f/3.5, 20mm f/2.8, 35mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/2, 135mm f/2, 200mm f/2.8, 300mm f/4 Enjoy!

Home made DIY DOF 35mm Adapter GL1

Homemade DIY DOF 35mm Adapter shooting on a Canon GL1. (Still Lens used is a Canon 50mm f1.8) Shot on the streets of NW Washington DC featuring my Pug Sasha and some random people. It’s my first test with it. In this version, the black levels have been adjusted via pedestal in Adobe Premiere to make it more “youtube friendly” and added letterbox to hide the scotch tape in the frame but still no color correcting. The last minute of this was shot in the evening light…And…Its hard to shoot upside down! www.vid-atlantic.com

Canon XHA1 with Brevis35 first test

Now you can see what both look like. Keep in mind this is my first real run with both the camera and the 35mm lens. Used Minolta 50mm F1.4 lens

First DOF Test

This is my first test of my homemade Depth of Field adaptor around Central Wellington, NZ. It is done on my little Sony DCR-CX100, with a Canon EF 50mm f1.8 on the end, not my ideal setup, but just a quick test, and nice and lite to take around town. Unfortunately I have only been able to find a Minolta Type L Focus Screen, which has grid lines, but im going to order either a Nikon or Canon one soon. Im also having a few issues with the rotatable CPL filter moving around, so am constructing …
